Behind the Imagica.pet project is Imagica, a digital animation studio in Mexico, with decades of experience, and a pioneer in the creation of digital visual effects for film, television and advertising.

In creating our own independent project, we chose to tell stories about the connections from affection and communication that people enjoy with dogs and cats. This connection has only recently begun to be studied and valued in research.

Historically, dogs and cats have been deemed sacred animals in many historical eras and cultures. Equally, they have chosen us to be their life partners, adapting to our customs. At the same time, they rely completely on our care and are victims to our carelessness, both of which affect their well-being immensely.

Imagica.pet joins other initiatives to learn from cats’ and dogs’ loyalty, love and intelligence. Most importantly, we aim to convey the value of the human-animal bond for us and them equally.

Imagica.pet is a non profit social justice project. Thus all sponsor contributions will be used to contribute to campaigns to prevent the abandonment of dogs and cats and to support the sterilization of these animals in order to slow and eventually end the incidence of their homelessness and suffering.
